Know What Is office upload center

The Microsoft office upload center enables you to monitor the files you are uploading on a server. Specifically, the Microsoft Office Upload Center uses the feature known as efficient file transfer (EFT) to help reduce bandwidth usage between applications of SharePoint 2010 and Office 2010. After uploading the file entirely to SharePoint 2010 site, a local copy of the file is placed in the Microsoft Office Upload Center (in the Office Document Cache), where it is broken into small units for editing, even this file breakdown That file is uploaded to the SharePoint site. When you make changes to the local copy of the file, EFT only sends changes to the SharePoint site. Consequently, the files are open faster and you can start using the file before the download completes.
You can open the Microsoft Office Upload Center by clicking on the Microsoft Office Upload Center icon in the notification area or by opening the Start Menu (StartMike Microsoft Microsoft Office Upload Center).
